Yamba Registered Nurse Job Opportunities

Uniting NSW.ACT, established as the community services arm of the Uniting Church in Australia, traces its roots to the church’s formation on June 22, 1977. This unification brought together the Methodist Church of Australasia, two-thirds of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and the Congregational Union of Australia, creating a new Protestant denomination committed to social justice and community service.

As an unincorporated not-for-profit organization, Uniting NSW.ACT operates under the governance of the Uniting Church’s Synod of NSW and the ACT. The organization is led by an Executive Director and a Board, which oversee its diverse range of services including aged care, disability support, early learning and community services.

The Board is responsible for ensuring that Uniting’s operations align with the mission and values of the Uniting Church, focusing on inclusivity, compassion and social justice.

Uniting NSW.ACT employs approximately 8,960 people and operates across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The organization is dedicated to providing holistic support to individuals and communities, particularly those experiencing disadvantage and vulnerability.

Through its various programs and initiatives, Uniting strives to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice, embodying the core values of the Uniting Church in Australia.
