Full Job Description

KUBRA is actively seeking a Senior Security Architect to join its Information Security team. This role is integral to ensuring the security of KUBRA’s computing environment, focusing on application and cloud security. The Senior Security Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing and maintaining secure computing environments for both on-premises and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

  1. Security Architecture Reviews:
    • Conduct design reviews for security architecture.
    • Offer recommendations to enhance the security of KUBRA’s application, database and cloud systems.
  2. Security Assessments:
    • Perform periodic tests and code analyses.
    • Conduct security assessments of KUBRA’s proprietary applications.
  3. Cloud Security Governance:
    • Manage cloud security systems.
    • Suggest configuration and change management improvements to enhance overall security posture.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Partner with DevSecOps, Application and Infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security guidelines.
  5. Risk Analysis and Trends Monitoring:
    • Stay updated on cybersecurity risks and industry trends.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
  6. Organizational Data Strategy:
    • Develop a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business processes and contractual requirements.
  7. Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning:
    • Use Infrastructure-as-Code principles to provision secure cloud environments.
  8. Security Frameworks:
    • Identify and implement controls based on industry standards like CCM.
    • Develop frameworks to address business risks and cloud-native threats.
  9. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
    • Assess security requirements during the SDLC process.
    • Ensure planned implementation of necessary controls.
  10. Threat Management:
    • Continually evaluate and address emerging cloud threats.
    • Implement relevant security controls.
  11. Monitoring and Logging:
    • Ensure all critical infrastructure is equipped with appropriate logging and monitoring mechanisms.
