Job Opportunity: Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled, professional and dedicated Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing advanced facial and body laser treatments while ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients.

As a Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include consulting with clients, conducting laser treatments and educating clients about the benefits and considerations of the services provided. Your goal will be to assist clients in making informed decisions about their skincare journey and provide expert guidance for pre- and post-treatment care.

Your ability to deliver reliable, consistent and high-quality services will contribute significantly to our establishment’s reputation. Punctuality, professionalism and a client-centric approach will be essential in ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

Treatment Services

As a Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist, you will provide the following services:

• Facial Treatments: Addressing various skin concerns using tailored solutions.
• Microdermabrasion: Offering exfoliation to promote skin renewal.
• Laser Skin Rejuvenation: Enhancing the skin’s tone and texture.
• Laser Hair Removal: Providing effective and long-lasting hair removal solutions.
• Laser Acne Removal: Targeting acne and improving skin clarity.
• Laser Vascular Treatments: Treating visible veins and vascular lesions.
• Laser Wrinkle Reduction: Minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
• Laser Skin Tightening: Enhancing elasticity and reducing sagging skin.
• Laser Pigmented Lesions Treatment: Addressing uneven pigmentation and spots.
• Laser Body Contouring: Assisting clients in achieving their desired body shape.
• Laser Cellulite Reduction: Improving skin texture and firmness.

Client Interaction

1. Appointment Management: Adhere strictly to scheduled appointments, ensuring sessions begin and end on time.
2. Warm Greetings: Welcome clients with a friendly demeanor, guide them to treatment rooms and express genuine gratitude upon their departure.
3. Consultations: Engage with clients to:
   • Discuss contraindications.
   • Examine their skin to assess treatment suitability.
   • Offer tailored advice and recommendations for treatments and home care routines.
4. Engagement During Sessions: Maintain a conversational and empathetic approach, discussing topics of interest to clients.

Sales and Promotion

• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to effectively promote and sell treatments, services and skincare products.

Sanitation and Maintenance

1. Policy Adherence: Follow strict esthetician protocols regarding chemical usage and sanitation.
2. Equipment Care: Clean and sanitize equipment meticulously after every use.
3. Linen Management: Replace linens between sessions to maintain hygiene.

Professionalism

• Cease treatments and report to supervisors if any inappropriate client behavior occurs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education

• Diploma or certification in Laser Treatment and/or Skin Care Esthetics is mandatory.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is required. This includes experience in skincare and laser treatments.

Compensation and Benefits:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $18 to $25 per hour. Candidates are expected to work between 30 to 40 hours per week, with schedules that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. The position is non-seasonal, ensuring year-round employment.

Employees will undergo a 90-day probationary period, after which they will become eligible for group insurance benefits.
